Best Business Tips for Photographers: An Ultimate Guide: Part 2

Hello Lovleys, Lets continue with your ultimate guy! The next two tips that should help you jump start your business!

4. Save Time and Create Connections through Internships

Getting an intern is a great way to save money and time. One of my interns, Kelly Escobar, interned for me and I had so much fun teaching her new things, and learning alongside her and figuring it out along the way!⁣ 💼 ⁣

Internships are a win-win process because the student is getting hands-on life experience within the profession, and you are getting a helping hand while learning how to delegate and teach! By no means am I a perfect person to intern under, the hardest part for me is delegating! ⁣💼👓 ⁣

But having an intern is such an amazing growth period and pushes you to run your business proactively! I had around 5-6 internships throughout school until I graduated from college. I have to say, I learned so much through all of them even when it wasn't all fun and games!⁣💡💻 ⁣

I am so thankful for my interns in the past such as Megan Mitchell and Alondra Ordaz for assisting with so many areas of my business! I have grown so much through them!⁣

Ask me some questions! I would be more than happy to write a post or let you know things like how I find my interns⁣, what process I use to vet them⁣, and what they assist me with⁣.

5. Take a look at my Finance Sheet!

I’ve been using and developing a finance workflow sheet for years now, and I’d like to offer it before January ends! It’s been so helpful for me to stay on top of my taxes, keep track of my business expenses and track how I am doing financially with Christine Wozz Photography every year!

I am so thankful for my mother who ran her own business and was able to show me how to create categories, track payment incomes and see overall year expenses! If you don’t know where to begin with your small business finances, this is for you!

What’s in it:

  1. A PAGE OF HELPFUL TIPS TO GET STARTED

  2. INCOME + EXPENSE REPORT

  3. BUDGET SHEET

  4. INCOME REPORT

  5. 2020 FINANCE SHEET OF EXPENSE BREAKDOWN

P.S. Even though it is customized for photographers, you can truly make it work for any small business! Once I began using this sheet, I was able to customize and create a workflow for photographers that will allow you to start taking hold of your finances, see where your money is going, and be able to neatly hand an accountant your print out of these expenses in a neat binder. CHECK IT OUT!
