2014 Connecticut Trip

Here are the images I promised you of the broken down factories!  Connecticut was literally my dream place to photograph!  Only if I had a bunch of models and maybe even a bride!  My heart is photographing broken down places with such elegant beautiful people in them!  I feel I had lost that until having the chance to photograph in downtown Derby!  To bad Florida is so new!  It makes it much more challenging to find run down old vintage places but when I do, something magnificent comes a live in my photography!  I think I might just have to bring a model to Connecticut one summer just to travel and take pictures in deserted locations!  What can be more fun then that!!!

ABOUT THE TRIP:

I did the CRAZIEST, probably not smartest thing every this summer, when I went out to take pictures, (Everyone that knows me knows, I love photographing BROKEN DOWN BUILDINGS)  I went looking for ABANDONED FACTORY HOUSES in Connecticut!  It was my DREAM location!  More then anything I wanted models to photograph in it!   I went up four flights of stairs, it was the creepiest most broken down place I have EVER seen in my life!.... The scariest part is... How I found it, this RANDOM boy stopped on the side of the road and asked what I was doing.  I told him I was taking pictures and he offered to drive me to this abandoned factory he knows of!  So he drove my aunt, nephew and me to the factory and brought us inside! I was freaked out the whole time it definitely was not a safe or smart situation, but IT WAS WELL WORTH THE  RISK!😍  #christinewozzphotography

ABOUT THE IMAGES:

Here are almost all of the images I say almost all because I had some great images of the bottom floor of the building! That part was the most creepiest dark broken down place! But sadly,  I will not be posting it because of the language written on the walls!  You are able to get an idea of what these places looked like from the rest of the pictures though!  I did brighten the images significantly!  So keep in mind when I was photographing it was ten times darker then the image, but I really wanted to bring out all the detail in every image!  I am defiantely not a landscape photographer.  Portraits are my love, but I hope I did it justice this time! Enjoy!
