LA Day 3
Exploring LA Day 3
I am sitting right now in a coffee shop called "Open Space" that we found while walking around. Just journaling talking with my friends and listening to some great music from Taylor boyfriend! When I tell you I am surrounded by talent its Gods endless beauty that is overflowing.
I am filled with that Holy Spirt high over the fact that I get to share a little taste of heaven on earth whey I collaborated, create and enjoy art! There is something about photography that gets my heart pumping and blood racing. A beautiful picture captivates me!
Everything I am experiencing and seeing in LA right now is unbelievers. The beauty that surrounds me is stunning. I am seeing mountains for the first time in years. I get to overlook the city of LA and take in all this goodness with the eyes that the Lord has allowed me to have.
The lens on my camera does not give justice to the Lens the Lord has placed in my eyes. I need to remember to stop videoing, stop taking pictures and just be in the movement. It's so hard to do that when I want to document it and share it with the Lord!
As I sit here in this little coffee shop I am overtaken by the garniture I have for being so blessed to be 22, single, in my career and traveling across the country already. Like, who am I to be so blessed by God have experienced life in a beautify way!
Don't get me wrong I am going to write a blog post about stepping out of our comfort zone and choosing to walk in your fear to the point where you walk right past it. It is something I am really learning as I journey out here to Los Angeles.
Aside from that. Today I got the chance to talk to Xy- Taylor's boyfriend about art and taking part in Gods gift of Creativity. It really is stirring up PASSION inside of me!
God is a creator, he created this earth and everything on it and in it. With tapping into your creativity, you are tapping into your God given talent whether you believe in Him or not. To me, that is absolutely beautiful that He has gifted us with talents and dreams and visions. That can only accomplish its full capability with Him at the center!
Today's Devotional brought up this quote:
7 Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me--to keep me from exalting myself!
8 Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me.
9 And He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
- 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 Intouch Devotional
It spoke to me so much in the fact that. We are weak humans and that's okay because our weakness is a testimony a story to how good God is. How even though we are weak, He makes us strong and comes along side of us to complete a good work, and isn't everything meant to point back to God and glorify Him anyway?
Well until next times reflection. Love you guys so much and would love to just talk and connect on these points. Feel free to comment below if you have anything at all to say! Here are some pictures from Day 2 of the Los Angles trip.
Day 3 (The 2nd full day in LA)
This day was so chill. I am back home reflecting right now on the whole day. It was so nice to sit in a coffee shop in LA and it feels just like a normal day in Florida.
It's crazy that no matter where you travel to you are still yourself. That your experience even though very different no matter where you are if you are sad you will be sad and if you are happy you will be happy. A place doesn't change that. I was for sure so happy and content.
After leaving that coffee shop we went to visit the Grove. If I am being honest I did not like it very much. I enjoyed Melrose more! If you are looking for really fancy shops and walking around into expensive stories than the Grove is the place for you!
Overall day 3 was very chill. I got to eat at IN- N- OUT! That for sure was my favorite experience of the day. I loved the burger but did not love the fires. I did appreciate how simple it was to order your food. Not too many options.
Here are images from Day 3: Exploring the Grove. Taking pictures all around and of corse pictures at In-N-Out I had to document my experience!
-Enjoy
