Muted Mood Presets

I had an awesome shoot with Candie and I really wanted to show you the before and afters of the shots using the Muted Mood Presets- so you can see how the presets work with different lighting! Let’s take a look…

For the first image, we shot on a rooftop and there was a yellow colored hue in the original photo from the sun. With the Muted Clean Tone preset (available for purchase with my Muted Mood preset pack ) I was able to POP and SMOOTH her skin tones! As well as have clean whites in the background - giving the final photo a crisp, clean look!

Another downtown shot here- although the sun and sunsets can bring great lighting, it can bring warm hues. And I really love a CLEAN hue that leans toward purple, so that’s what the muted mood preset did for the shots downtown! Pure magic!

I love shooting at Greenery walls! It has a consistent light feel, but green can be a HARSH color for photos. Greens aren’t necessarily pleasing to the eye, so the muted mood preset helped create an even skin tone, as well as making the greens more “bluish green” as you can see the difference by switching the toggle back and forth!

I love this door shot SO MUCH! As you can see in the original shot, the photo was a little tilted. It was a time of day where the sun was bringing in these beautiful golden tones that I didn’t want to lose by editing, but the muted tone preset cools down the warmness of the image and left it with a nice subtle romantic hue! Still slightly bronzed, and just beautiful!

For this shot, I posed Candie in front of this red door! Overall, the colors in this image were great- but the door is BRIGHT RED! So, this muted hue helps tone the door down and allows the pinks to be a nice color! Allowing for a stunning image!

For the final shot, we are on the rooftop again! The rooftop is very warm, so cooling down the shot makes a nice looking breezy, cool day, which is KEY in Florida!

I hope you enjoyed these before and afters with my Muted Mood Presets! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! I love answering any questions about editing, so feel free to comment below!
